Thank you to everyone who joined the seminar and especially to our two wonderful speakers on the R2R February cyber-seminar for their enlightening presentations about risk communication broadly and, specifically, how storytelling has been used in Alaska to help reach American Indian and Alaskan Native populations. Both speakers provided insight into how we can better communicate with and education our populations, including those that are often underserved, in regard to health issues. Access the materials and resources that Melany presented at the Alaska Community Health Aide Program website.
Now it is your turn to share your experience and knowledge...ask a question of the speakers or your fellow R2R members, share your stories of risk communication, including storytelling, and and tools/resources you and/or organization/community might use in your cancer control planning and intervention efforts. What lessons have you learned that others might benefit from?
Join us in the discussion!
