Brandie Adams has eleven years experience planning, implementing, and evaluating national health promotion initiatives funded by The National Cancer Institute, The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the Health Services and Resources Administration. Her expertise is researching the social determinants affecting the health status of underserved groups. She is also skilled in building statewide collaboratives to plan and evaluate evidence-based programs for achieving community health outcomes. Brandie has co-authored the Society for Public Health’s Resolution to Eliminate Health Disparities and peer reviewed articles about strategies to promote access to HPV vaccination, healthcare utilization practices of veterans diagnosed with colorectal cancer, and recommendations for ensuring accountability for policy interventions to eliminate health disparities.
