Greg Feero, MD, PhD
Dr. Feero attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and graduated with a Ph.D. in Human Genetics as well as an MD. He then completed his training at the Maine-Dartmouth Family Medicine Residency in Augusta, Maine. After five years in practice in Maine, he accepted a position at the National Human Genome Research Institute, National Institutes of Health, where he was a senior advisor to the Director, and Branch Chief of the Genomic Healthcare Branch in the Office of Policy, Communication and Education. In 2009 he returned to Maine. Dr. Feero serves as a consultant to the Jackson Laboratory on education issues, is an Associate Editor for the Journal of the American Medical Association and is a member of the National Academies of Science, Engineering and Medicine Roundtable on Genomics and Precision Health. He has authored several book chapters and over 50 peer-reviewed publications and is board certified in Family Medicine. He currently sees patients at Four Seasons Family Practice in Fairfield, ME.
