Krystal Morwood has been with the Chronic Disease Unit at the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment since January of 2011.  She has worked on a variety of chronic disease initiatives including Colorado's Comprehensive Cancer Program, Colorectal Cancer Control Program, cardiovascular disease prevention , and the Patient Navigation Community Health Worker and Patient Navigation Collaborative. Krystal has a BS in Health Education and MS in Kinesiology and Health from the University of Wyoming.  She was previously with the University of Colorado Cancer Center, where she worked on several cancer screening and research projects.  Krystal has also been involved with the Colorado Cancer Coalition for 8 years. Krystal is passionate about improving the coordination of chronic disease prevention and management to enhance individual and public health outcomes.
