Wendy Noe, BA

Wendy Noe graduated from Marian College in Indianapolis with a communications degree. She started her career at The Julian Center, where she helped create the post-shelter case management program and also educated over 8,000 people on domestic abuse. She then took the opportunity to work as the Curriculum Director for the Domestic Violence Network of Greater Indianapolis, where she educated local businesses, adult groups, and youth on breaking the cycle of domestic abuse and created a nationally used curriculum aimed at educating youth on domestic abuse.
Wendy is currently employed with the Central Indiana Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure, where her primary responsibility is implementing all mission outreach and breast health programs. Wendy coordinates a budget of 1.5 million dollars in local grant money and maintains a close relationship with the 15 grantees in the Komen Central Indiana’s 21-county service area. She is responsible for all program development and created a nationally used provider webinar series on breast health, and the prevention and treatment within best practices. She created and coordinates the breast health disparity meetings, which attracts more than 20 collaborative partners that meet bi-monthly to work toward reducing the disparities women and men face in their fight against breast cancer and chairs the states Indiana Cancer Consortium Breast & Cervical Action team.
Wendy has served on the task force for Partners against Domestic Abuse a United Way funded program. She has served on the Domestic Violence Emergency Response Team, as well as on the advisory council for The Protective Order Pro Bono Project of Greater Indianapolis, and the Clarian Coalition Against Domestic Violence. She currently serves as a board member for the Domestic Violence Network of Greater Indianapolis, is a member of the Central Indiana Cancer Coalition, and is the chair person for the Indiana Cancer Consortium Breast & Cervical Cancer Committee and the National Center of Excellence in Women’s Health Program Development Committee.  Wendy has received the Indiana Coalition Against Domestic Violence Award Empowerment through Education award, and the Indiana Cancer Coalition Cancer Control Champion Award and was recently nominated for the prestigious 40 under 40 award.
