I am a Cancer Research Training Fellow for the Implementation Science Team at NCI. My main responsibility is support user engagement on NCI's Research to Reality (http://researchtoreality.cancer.gov) online community of practice for cancer control researchers and practitioners. I am a medical anthropologist by training, with a master’s degree in applied anthropology from the University of Maryland. Before coming to NCI, I conducted qualitative research projects on a diverse range of topics, including health communication and treatment seeking behaviors for malaria in rural Mozambique; patient-reported outcomes of a community health worker program for HIV-positive transgender sex workers in Washington, DC; and cultural competency and sex education programs in rural Georgia, USA.
